Meshan Smith joined Henderson Financial Group, Inc. in December 2020 to assist the firm’s lead advisor in delivering a personalized "Curated Wealth Management Experience" to clients. As the Private Client Coordinator, she works directly under the direction of the lead advisor, providing outstanding client service and operational support. Meshan has an innate passion for encouraging others to pursue their economic and family legacy goals, whether big or small. She is responsible for a crucial and integral duty: ensuring the lead advisor has all the necessary tools to construct a thorough and effective financial analysis.
Before joining Henderson Financial Group, Inc., Meshan spent over 12 years in the Private Client division of a diversified bank holding company, managing relationships between retail clients and the Private Client group’s specialized departments. Her professional experience spans credit accounts, investment accounts, mortgages, personal loans, business banking, money markets, and securities-backed lines of credit. Prior to working in private banking, she served as a retail bank branch manager and had a successful career in pharmaceutical sales.
A native of Middle Tennessee, Meshan graduated as Valedictorian of her high school class and was recognized for her academic excellence with a distinguished award from the United States Senate. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University. She later obtained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Finance from the University of Phoenix. She is a proud and long-standing member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
In addition to her professional and academic achievements, Meshan serves with humility on the Board of Directors for the Urban League of Middle Tennessee.
Meshan and her husband, Corey, reside in Williamson County with their daughter, Kailey. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, reading, exercising, golfing, and attending Kailey’s cheer competitions.
