Yolanda Mason Henderson, a proud native of Nashville, Tennessee, brings over 3 decades of experience in the financial services industry to her leadership role at Henderson Financial Group, Inc. She attended John Overton High School, Whites Creek Comprehensive High School, and Nashville State Technical Institute. Her professional journey began in the early 1990s with five years in banking as a Personal Banker for First American Bank (now Regions Bank) and The Bank of Nashville (now Synovus), where she developed a strong foundation in client relations and operations.
Since joining Henderson Financial Group, Inc. in 1997, Yolanda has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s administrative and organizational direction. As Director of Events and Leadership, she serves on the executive leadership team, helping to guide the firm’s strategic initiatives alongside her husband, Marcus, and Managing Director/COO, Todd. She combines her industry expertise with a passion for hospitality and service, leading HFG’s special events with intentionality, precision, and care.
Yolanda refined her event management skills through Belmont University’s Meeting and Event Planning Certification Program and holds licenses in life and health insurance as a Tennessee Insurance Producer. She is also a commissioned Notary Public for the State of Tennessee and a proud 28-year member of the Nashville Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
Deeply committed to civic and community engagement, Yolanda is an active member of the Hendersonville Area (TN) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated; Circle-Lets, Inc. at both the local and national level; and the NAACP. She and her husband are also devoted members of Lee Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Nashville, Tennessee.
Yolanda and Marcus reside in Franklin, Tennessee, and share a beautifully blended family of five adult children. She is currently pursuing a degree in Organizational Management and Leadership at the historic Morris Brown College—a proud HBCU, founded by Bishop Morris Brown of the African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church, in 1881. Her enrollment reflects her deep dedication to lifelong learning and faith.
In her free time, Yolanda enjoys fitness training, traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, cheering on the Tennessee Titans, and planning unforgettable events. Her leadership is rooted in service, gratitude, and excellence—values that continue to shape her legacy both personally and professionally.
